The New Amorous World is a utopian community that advocates for a departure from capitalism and pursuing a utopian lifestyle. The name comes from the writings of the utopian thinker, Charles Fourier.

The Limits of Capitalism
Considering various factors such as the global environment and capitalism, current civilization is reaching its limits. First, regarding the global environment, groundwater in North America has been depleted, and agriculture will soon become impossible. Phosphorus and potassium, essential raw materials for fertilizer, will also be depleted in a few decades. Humanity has halved the numbers of insects, fish, birds, and animals in the past 50 years, but it is impossible for humanity alone to survive amidst the collapse of nature.
Capitalism will also soon collapse. The accumulated debt worldwide has reached astronomical figures, making it impossible to bear the interest payments. The global economy will suffer a blow on a level humanity has never experienced before.
The mindset of the capitalist elite is also a major problem. Because capitalism is a system that absolutizes individual property rights, the capitalist elite—that is, the billionaires—consider the Earth their own property. And they have no hesitation in excluding others from their land. Population reduction plans are real, and for these capitalist elites, they are simply realizing their rightful entitlement.
Surviving the collapse
Many young people have lost hope and find life difficult, and the reason is the mind control of capitalism. Capitalism needs to sell things, and therefore needs to make people believe they need things they don't. As a result, capitalist society is overflowing with mind control. Young people in capitalist society believe that money is the means of survival, but this is a huge mistake. What people need to survive is air, water, and food, not money. Realizing this simple fact makes life much easier. The first step to surviving the collapse of civilization is to break free from the capitalist mind control placed upon yourself.
Utopian Ideology
Money is the most convenient tool that humans have developed. In the world before the development of money, people could only interact with people in their own community. However, with the development of money, people can trade with anyone in the world. But this convenience, conversely, makes people lonely and destroys culture. Modern loneliness and globalization are caused by money.
The first ideology to emerge in opposition to capitalism was utopianism. However, this ideology was rejected by communism, which later gained overwhelming support, and was largely forgotten. But now that communism has failed, it is an ideology worth revisiting. Both capitalism and communism consider the ownership of things. In capitalism, individuals own things, while in communism, the state owns them. However, the concept of utopianism is fundamentally different. Utopianism first considers what happiness means to human beings and then constructs a society from there. For human beings, the source of happiness is community and love. A utopia is a society that values love, not material possessions.
"The New Amorous World" is a representative work by Charles Fourier, a pioneer of utopian thought.
